What to Pack for a Beach Vacation

Headed to Turks & Caicos for President’s Weekend and I’m so looking forward to beaching it.  Turks & Caicos is one of my favorite islands in the Caribbean. It’s easy to get to, and nothing competes with the pristine white sand and clear turquoise waters. Thinking about what to pack always gets the excitement going. Rather than randomly throwing things into the suitcase, I like to create my outfits ahead of time – even less to think about when on vacation.
Vacation staples include denim cut offs. My current favorites are by Alexander Wang. They hit at just the right place and I love the wash.
I always bring some sort of cropped top to wear with high waisted jeans for the evening. I just purchased this off the shoulder, blue and white polka dot Zimmerman piece from Shopbop.
I love the soft, feminine feel which is perfect for warm tropical nights.
Someone’s been doing some late night shopping because I also purchased this Love Shack Fancy eyelet mini dress. The fit is flattering and I always go for a ruffled sleeve – an easy dinner outfit…

I always bring a few high heel sandals for evening. I usually stick to neutrals like these strappy Chloe ones, but I absolutely had to have these floral sandals from Alexander Birman. I am head over heels for this Liberty inspired print. For those who prefer flats, they also come in this version.
Where I have the most fun is with my bags, nothing like a bit of whimsy. This not so little piggy by Cult Gaia is coming with me to the market and beyond.
My friends gifted me this adorable pineapple shaped bag by Mercedes Salazar which I adore and is definitely a vacation must have, talk about tropical…

Though I can never bring along enough products, my four must-haves are Hampton Sunblock, Soleil Toujors SPF 30 Organic Set + Micro  Mist, Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick and Estee Lauder Victoria Bekham’s Aura Gloss.
Last but not least, are a few books that have been on my reading list. I haven’t read one book yet this winter but I’m hoping to crack open at least one binding before wine o’clock if ya know what I mean.
