Once upon a time, I wore t-shirts and sweats to bed – not your ordinary t-shirts, but those with graphics, sayings on them, or the name of a rock band. I wore them so often, there were more holes than I cared to count. Some could have actually called these tees “holy”. And for my full-length sweats, they became capris after so many years of wash and wear.
At some point, and I can’t remember when, but definitely well into my late 30’s if not 40’s, I made the transition to presentable pajama sets that I have truly come to appreciate (and so does my hubby).
These days, I am a loyal pajama wearer and so look forward to putting on a pair of pretty and comfortable sets, especially after my evening ritual of taking too long of a hot shower, followed by my skincare routine.
I’d say my pajama wardrobe consists of sleepwear mostly by Eberjey, Sleepy Jones, and Skin, but I definitely have some fab sets from other brands like Sleeper and PJ Salvage.
With Hanukkah in just a couple of weeks and Christmas a little over a month away, I decided to create a sleepwear gift guide for you all. We can never have enough pj’s in our lives, can we?
I scoured my favorite sites and chose the best of the best from robes and pants sets to night dresses and shearling slippers.
Ok…Let’s get to it!
Eberjey’s newly released jersey sets with a whipstitched style are a favorite. My top 2 colors are light grey and kelp/bone.
If short sleeves are more your thing, this grey heather option by Ugg is pretty sweet.
For those who like their pj’s to be a little extra, this vintage-inspired mint printed style by Rixo is darling.
I have a definite thing for all things yellow so obviously, this soft yellow satin-silk pajama set by Asceno made my it list.

When it comes to short sets, I am loving this Rixo cheerful yellow and white retro gingham cotton-poplin blouse and shorts. This Asceno white organic linen set is also a winner – perfect for any warm-weather vacation or for anyone who lives south of the border – simply chic.
Dress to impress? This red lace-trimmed silk-satin slip dress by Carine Gilson is oh so oooh la la beautiful. For something a bit more playful, this Lora Darsen ruffled linen and cotton blend nightdress in blush linen is literally what dreams are made of.

At the top of my robe wish list is this breathtaking blue/white floral print cotton robe by Emilia Wickstead – I swoon. For the coziest robe, perfect for winter evenings at home, you must check out Skim’s bouclé style that comes in bone/camel and black.
Shop robes & loungewear here:
Last but certainly not least, are slippers or as I like to call them, shlippas.
At the top of my lust-have list are these square-toed shearling slippers by Sleeper and these luxe pink faux fur slippers by Olivia Morris.
Two must-have options are these cream Madewell sherpa slippers and these chestnut shearling platform slippers by the mother of all slipper brands – Ugg.
Happy Shopping and wishing you all a very festive and… cozy holiday season!
