It’s been too long since I published a blog post and I’m thrilled to be sharing my latest fashion favorites again.
In the denim department, these Rachel Comey high-rise, wide leg denim jeans (they runs true to size) are super cool. For a casual everyday denim option, I’ve been wearing these AGolde 90’s cropped straight jeans on repeat. Showing a little ankle (read: with certain shoes) tends to make for a flattering look. This pair is currently on sale and runs true to size.
Another noteworthy jean are these buttery Kule chambray pants. They run small so I sized up an extra size; I also plan to hem them ankle length.
If you’re shopping for denim shorts, it’s worth checking out this AGolde cuffed pair. They’re on the longer side – the perfect length for running errands and coffee runs.
For an elevated evening denim pair, look no further than these high waisted, straight leg jeans by Dries Van Noten.
Speaking of Dries, his spring collection has definitely been a favorite of mine. So sad to hear he is retiring. Here are some of my favorite pieces.
- Blue and white striped cotton trousers with a front pleat and cuffed hem. Will wear these to dinner al fresco this summer.
- Mint printed silk satin pants. I plan to wear these casually with a cool pair of kicks.
- Blue and white cotton pinstriped cotton shirt.
- Paillette-Embellished Midi-Skirt . I’m obsessed with this summer statement skirt. So good!
I picked up a few casual tops that will come in handy this summer including Jenni Kayne‘s lightweight ivory knit polo (also on sale). This NSF cream cropped knit tank is an easy go-to neutral as is this white cropped cotton shell by Theory. Two going out for dinner top options include this Rosie Assoulin striped bustier top with a halter neckline and this sweetly scalloped short sleeve top with floral embroidery by SEA. Lastly, I will always love this Ralph Lauren floral bustier that I wore to my daughters bridal shower. This will be a summer favorite that will hold a forever sentimental value.
J. Crew is having such a moment these days! This white cotton scoop neck shift dress (a la Loewe) caught my eye. This 60’s inspired printed dress by La DoubleJ (also on sale) and this puff-sleeve Ganni white cotton mini dress are also darling.
‘Tis the season for sunnies. This silver aviator style by Celine will add an element of cool to your look this summer. I also came across an Oliver People x Brunello Cucinelli pair at Bergdorf’s that are très chic.
Summer must-have shoes include these leather platform sandals in black and caramel brown by YSL and these beyond hot hot hot Fendi studded black leather sandals. For a minimalist lust-have sneaker option, these suede paneled leather sneakers by The Row are certainly an investment, though a classic kick to have on rotation.
I’ve been spending lots of weekends lately at the Jersey Shore and my Neely & Chloe weekend satchel and tote are the perfect travel accessories. I highly recommend for your summer weekend getaways and beyond.
Can’t wait to share more of my summer fashion favorites. Stay tuned!

My name is Deb Huberman. I just read about your mom. While I lost my dad tragically in 2009, I fear all the time about when the time comes for my mom to pass as everything you wrote about your relationship with your mom is true for mine. So while I don’t know you, I can actually truly empathize what you may be feeling and wanted to extend myself if you ever have that one day no one is around and u just need to talk about missing mom. I’ll be that extra extra set of ears. So many people extended themselves to me when my dad died, and I have done the same ever since! 9172707113. Text/ call anytime !
