Last week David and I were invited to a gorgeous destination wedding in exotic Marrakech to celebrate two very special people. The event was the perfect mix of culture infused with elegant dinners and festive parties with a little spa time, and foot rubs for good measure. More than the natural beauty of Marrakech, I was taken by the warmth of the people of Morocco. The experience was a feast for the senses – think Islamic architecture, intricate mosaics, embroidered caftans, colorful and aromatic herbs and spices, and the fragrant nuts and olives just to name a few. The hosts, aka bride and groom, could not have been more gracious and exuded the warmth that made this truly memorable.
