Entertain With Me|The Summer Edit

One of my favorite things about summer is entertaining friends and family. I enjoy the entire process from crafting the guest list and creating the menu to choosing the floral centerpieces and setting the table. Typically, I leave the bar (and music selection) to my husband!

I’m a sucker for whimsical, summer-friendly entertaining accessories. At my table, you’ll always find some type of rattan/wicker accents like a placemat or napkin ring and a serving piece by Tina Frey. Frey’s classic bowl trio is one of my most used dishes for company; I usually fill them with olives and mixed nuts. This pedestal bowl is also fabulous for serving salads. If I want to add an easy pop of color, I’ll fill this with tangerines on the dessert table. Anything from the Tina Frey collection also makes for a wonderful hostess gift.

A few years ago, I hosted a girls lunch, and a talented friend of mine, Jaclyn Marcos, suggested I purchase these darling Tory Burch oiseau salad plates. These vintage-inspired dishes have a scalloped eyelet border and always add character to my table setting.

Currently, my wish list includes these multi-colored Laetitia Rouget dessert plates with fun tongue-in-cheek statements. For a touch of floral, I’m a fan of these elevated Maison Margaux ceramic dinner and dessert plates. These chic plates come in a green and pink colorway.

When it comes to glassware, Tory Burch’s green wine glasses are a go-to. I enjoy these as water glasses because they look so pretty on the table, especially when I serve outdoors!

For those who prefer a glass of bubbly, these colorful La DoubleJ champagne coupes made from Murano glass will certainly spark joy at your next cocktail party.

You can have your cake and eat it too with one of my favorite cake stands (thank you, Shirley Franco) by Estelle. These come in a variety of dreamy colors. My favorite color of the moment is this amber smoke tone. Another great gift idea!
