Simply stated, neutral sandals are an important must have in every summer/vacation wardrobe.
They work with EVERYTHING, elongate the leg and make it a no brainer for packing and coordinating.
Neutral sandals have been and always will be, my go-to’s.
First and foremost are the TKEE thongs. They are functional, simple and almost blend in with your leg. It’s the type of sandal that should always come with you because you never know when you’ll need to throw them on i.e. cobblestone streets, rocky Italian beaches, or post boozy barbecue when your stilettos don’t feel stable.
Next in step are the Carrie Forbes woven slides. I love anything raffia and they add a bit of cool summer texture – think organic and natural. I will say that I do own these in the green color block version as well. Between you and me, I treat these as a neutral and ps. they’re on sale!
Another must-have are these chic as shit Gianvito Rossi sandals., I am in love with the gold chain ankle strap detail. These can be dressed up when paired with a breezy summer midi dress or a mini dress. They can also be dressed down as well with a gauzy beach kaftan or cover up. And the good news continues…these babies are on sale as well!
I bought these gold woven leather sandals by Michel Vivien on a recent trip to Forte de Marmi. Nothing like a vacation purchase! Yes, gold is a neutral and these can also be dressed up or down. I paired them with a white embroidered frock by Love Shack Fancy but also plan on wearing them with denim cut-offs.
Last but not least, are these lust have leather slides by Saint Laurent. They are at the top of my wishlist. I’m not sure why I haven’t purchased them just yet. Could it be that maybe, just maybe I have enough neutral sandals? hmmmm…. I also am coveting these croc effect leather slides by Gabriela Hearst. Let’s see how strong my will power is. Keep you posted!
