7 Favorite Buys for June

I made a few fun/staple purchases this past month and wanted to share my June finds with you in case you were in search of some new summer outfit ideas.
I am probably most excited about my oversized Madewell denim jacket. Besides the gentle price point, I’ve been on the lookout for this cool throw on for a while – actually a year to be exact. Last summer, I purchased one by Alexander Wang but never wore it because it was too stiff and way too oversized. This Madewell jacket has the perfect worn-in look and light blue wash. I have been pairing this with slip dresses and cotton tapered pants.

I bought a couple of pairs of new jeans from Japanese brand Moussy. I highly recommend visiting the SOHO location to check out all their options. Although pricey, I find their cut to be quite flattering.
Another June favorite I can’t wait to wear is this pink bathing suit by Lisa Marie Fernandez. It’s the perfect pink, I love the seersucker fabric and rope tie detail. This preppy suit pairs well with an oversized white button down cover up.

Ok. So I know I already put it out there that I wouldn’t wear polka dots this season, but shit happens and I changed my mind. I am so in love with this Rebecca de Ravenel silk pink and white polka dot cropped tie front blouse. I am planning to wear it with her matching red and white polka dot silk midi skirt. Talk about going from 0 to 100. As a side note, someone once told me, it’s ok to change your mind and I changed mine regarding polka dots.
I also purchased her wooden handmade three drop earrings with glass stones. They’re a natural neutral statement earring.

Another purchase I’ve been wearing off the hook are these white Common Project leather sneakers. They’re the perfect upgrade form my Saint Laurent platforms which were beginning to walk off on their own.
Last but not least, I bought these high rise cropped, cream color cotton pants by Apiece Apart. They’re lightweight and easy to pair with a tonal top and some statement jewelry.
