Jet a Porter: Your Sand, Sun and Style Destination

My husband and I are planning a quick get away to either Nantucket or Newport (surprise, surprise David!) at the end of the summer. In addition to planning our itinerary, part of the fun is creating outfits that excite me. I take my travel wardrobe quite seriously. I want to feel good and enjoy what I’m wearing so I always plan out my outfits ahead of time.
My go to site for all things vacation is Net-a-Porter. They have the most highly curated selection of summer travel essentials including beauty, fashion and accessories and I simply can’t get enough!
I’ve already given some thought to what I’ll be taking with me and I know for certain that this off the shoulder Lisa Marie Fernandez linen maxi dress is a must have.

I love the soft pastel yellow with a summer tan or in my case a summer glow thanks to a little help from Charlotte Tilbury’s Filmstar Bronze and Glow. I especially love the natural sun kissed look it gives me and the highlighter adds a luminous finish. I find an off the shoulder silhouette flattering on almost everyone and the billowy sleeves adds a bit of attitude in a romantic, bohemian sort of way.

I paired this dress with these lightweight gold hoops by Jennifer Fisher, the perfect classic summer accessory. It’s important not to overdo it especially at the beach, in this case – less is more.

I finished off the outfit with an Alienina cotton woven rope bag. I am obsessed with this beige beach summer piece that has an organic feel to it – casual, cool and will basically work with anything in my summer wardrobe.

Another definite is this striped linen jumpsuit by J. Crew.

For those who follow my blog, you know that I’m obsessed with all things stripe and if you don’t know, now you know. I also gravitate towards jumpsuits because it’s an effortless outfit with a complete look. The tie at the waist is a flattering detail and I’m a sucker for wide legged cropped pant silhouette – a South a France vibe. I paired this with a Rag & Bone Straw Panama Hat and once again the Alienina bag was the perfect accessory to finish off the look.

No beach look is complete without Oribe’s Matte Waves Texture Lotion. During the summer months, I go au natural, low maintenance if you will. This product is great for that tousled beach wave look without the dryness.
