Though I ADORE receiving gifts on Mother’s Day, this year I was thinking of doing something with my kids or giving them something small but meaningful from the heart to show my appreciation. When I think about Mother’s Day and what it means to me, I realize I could not be celebrated, if it weren’t for them.
Some ideas that I have been toying with are:
framed photos of myself with each child
a little book related to mother child sentiments
a plant for their room
something sweet and yummy
a buggy ride ride through Central Park or a carousel ride
This would be my way of showing that appreciation is reciprocal.
