10 Things To Do In NYC This September

With September officially 9 days away, I compiled a list of 10 fun things to do in NYC. Nothing like the fall season in the big apple!

Watch the U.S. Open – This will be Serena William’s last year playing in the U.S. Open, so I do hope to get there. If you do plan on attending a Serena Williams match, I highly suggest you watch King Richard, a documentary about Serena Venus, and their father, Richard Williams.
Skate at Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace at Rockefeller Center – This roller rink hosts DJ sets, offers live performances, and skating lessons through October. This was actually on my NYC spring to-do list, so this activity is definitely at the top of my fall list!
See a Broadway Show – Broadway Week begins on September 6 until the 25th. This bi-annual theatre celebration offers discounted tickets. Funny Girl starring Lea Michelle, The Devil Wears Prada, and Moulin Rouge are at the top of my list!
Grab a cocktail at the chic Bemelmans Bar and a jazz show at Cafe Carlyle. The Bemelmans Bar also offers a Martini Masterclass where you can learn to make your favorite martini and/or the various styles of Martinis – gin or vodka, dry, shaken, stirred, olives, twist, dirty, etc. Sounds like a James Bond moment to me.
De-stress and get zen at The Well. A one-stop shop for physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. I have visited their spa at the Mayflower Inn in Connecticut and it is spectacular. I hope to try their services in NYC this September.
Take in the Kimono Style exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and/or the Jean-Michel Basquiat Exhibit: King Pleasure.
Grab a coffee at Poppi Cafe, a charming Italian cafe on East 69th Street between Madison Avenue and 5th Avenue and then take a stroll in Central Park.
Kick off the September season with a Giants football game and why not do a tailgate too?
Treat yourself to an organic and all-natural manicure and pedicure at Daisies Le Fleur on the Upper East Side.
