I can’t believe April 1st is next week!!!
Guys, I am so stoked about the warmer temps. I obsessively check the weather app and this Thursday will be a high of 69! Woohoo!!!
Whether you are headed somewhere warm for spring break, are planning a summer getaway, or want to get a jump start on your summer wardrobe, I thought I’d highlight a few warm-weather wardrobe essentials that are perfect for your next vacation or staycation.
Though I appreciate many hat styles, ie the bucket, visor, etc…, I find it a challenge to find one that’s just right for me, which is why I am so excited to share this Missoni Mare knit chevron fedora which is quite flattering and a makes for a subtle yet fashionable statement.
I recently wrote a post on my favorite swimsuits. When it comes to holidays by the sea, I always bring along my Eres swimwear. Yes, this French-based brand is definitely on the pricey side, but so worth the investment. The fit is perfection, the styles are classic, they wear wonderfully, and the new colors that are introduced each season are unique.
Of course, I always sprinkle in a few fun printed swimsuits such as this pistachio check 90’s style bikini set with white eyelet trim and this floral one-piece cut-out one, both by Solid & Striped. I am also excited to wear this sweet orange print bandeau bikini set by Stella McCartney.

When it comes to beachwear, I am a big fan of Xirena beach pants – a must-have summer wardrobe essential. Also worth checking out are their lightweight button-downs.

LoveShackFancy dresses are another summer wardrobe essential. I think I must add 1 or 2 of their dresses to my collection each season and they always stay relevant.
The Edie white maxi dress with lace trim is the most classic style in my opinion. I wore my first one to shreds, literally, so I went out and bought a replacement one last season -that’s how much I wore mine. I wear this dress unbuttoned save for a button or two by the midsection for le beach and of course, I button up if I head to town afterward.

When it comes to sandals, these cocoa butter Tkees flip flops and these natural woven raffia slides by Carrie Forbes are must-haves. I’ll also bring along a couple of other embroidered sandals from previous years for a bit of pop and print.
These Bottega Veneta raffia sandals are everything. I’ve written about them a bunch of times but that’s because they work well with so many pieces in my wardrobe so worth the splurge if it’s in your budget. Bottega also makes a black strappy sandal that is another winner and flattering on the foot – super sexy and classic.
For a bold pop of color and 80’s coolness, I love these Saint Laurent sandals with a cone heel.

A few other essentials I like to travel with are Acne Studio blazers. I wear these on cooler evenings draped over my shoulder. Nili Lotan sweatpants and sweatshirts are the perfect comfy cozy fashion option for traveling or for slipping on to grab your morning cup of joe.
Last but not least, though not an essential, these Olympia Le Tan clutches add a bit of whimsy to any outfit.
