I’ve got the September blues – and by that I mean, the color blue. Come fall and I’m literally falling for this classic sometimes royal, sometimes sweet hue.
I always favor a good ole cropped so when it comes to knits, this cropped cable knit sweater by Philosophy de Lorenzo Serafini is at the top of my list, and this sweet blue floral (also cable knit) embroidered crop top by Alessandra Rich has already found its way into my closet. On the opposite end of the spectrum, those of you who are looking for the cozy, fall feel, this soft Autumn Cashmere maxi open cashmere cardigan is simply darling.

I’m a denim lover so naturally, I gravitate towards denim button-downs. This season, Nili Lotan made a fabulous indigo blue denim style that in my opinion is a bit Western-inspired – woo-hoo!
For a more classic blue denim shirt, Frank & Eileen, a favorite brand when it comes to button-downs, makes this one in a lightweight chambray.

This Brock Collection puff sleeve floral print silk crepe dress is so dreamy. I imagine wearing this romantic, feminine dress to dinner and dinner parties. A more casual option, yet just as romantic but perhaps a bit more fun and flirty is this viscose floral print mini dress by LoveShackFancy.

Cropped blazers are the name of the game this season and this navy Alexander McQueen double-breasted wool and cotton blend jacket is just the chicest. For a more relaxed, cool, and casual vibe, Isabel Marant Etoile has been crushing it with their gingham check heavyweight felt coats. This midnight blue overcoat version is my current fave.

Can we ever have enough jeans in our wardrobe? I think not. I’m always on the hunt for the next best pair and recently (as in last Thursday) snagged these SLVRlake highrise straight jeans at a Revolve event. I wore them 3 days in a row…that’s how much I love them. On their site, sizing is limited so I included another link from Shopbop as they have more sizes available.
It’s all in the details with these 60’s style slit cuff patchwork slim leg jeans by Re/Done. How blue-tiful is this unique pair? I’d wear this dressed up with a navy boyfriend or structured blazer, or dressed down with a denim shirt or navy cashmere crewneck sweater.
