This Thanksgiving holiday, I’ll left my pilgrim outfit behind as I often play dress up each year. Instead, I spent the holiday in St. Barths (stay tuned for travel guide this week) and swapped out my bonnet and buckles for some nautical inspired style. Think nautical stripe tees – a la classic Breton, striped bathing suits and striped pajamas – nope, I can never have enough! I’ve been wearing striped tees forever and find them easy to throw on with a pair of jeans or cut offs. The look is classic, effortless and every chic French it girl owns at least one. My go to brand for striped tees is Kule. I love her playful and Kule (pun intended) take on this classic. Her use of colors is genius, (see here for example) and I’m drawn to her retro vibe. At a gentler price point are these striped tees by Madewell and as the name suggests, are made really well.

When it comes to the itsy bitsy and one piece, no-one does nautical stripe swimsuits better than Solid & Striped. For this trip, I bought this belted brown and black striped bathing suit and paired it with my black denim Levi cut offs. I removed the belt to accommodate the high waistline on the shorts, but being the fashion woman that I am, I put that sucker back on when the shorts came off at the beach. Here and here are some other nautical stripe options by this brand.

I also sleep in stripes and love these pajama options by Madewell, Sleepy Jones and Eberjey.
The one must have accessory that will work well with all your stripes, is this smile canvas bucket bag by Kule. It literally makes me happy. I suggest a bold red lip to finish off the look.
