These boots are made for walkin’, and that’s just what they’ll do…One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you… These lyrics, written in 1966 by Nancy Sinatra, often pops into my head when I hear the word boots. Anyway..back to boots as it pertains to fashion…I’ve been doing some perusing on the web and created a pretty awesome round up of ankle and knee-high boots for this fall/winter season. Consider this your ultimate fall boot round up.
Let’s begin with the brown knee boot.
Gianvito Rossi is always a win-win. They’re well made, classic, and make for a wise investment. I am equally swooning over this leather and suede version. The suede version has a lower stacked heel so a bit more casual. The leather version, while also casual, can be easily dressed up. For those who like a little extra lift in the height department, the leather boot comes at a 3.5-inch heel, 1 inch higher than the suede version.
When it comes to over the knee boot action, this Ulla Johnson is fall perfect. I always like a wood stacked heel, the saddle brown is a very rich tone and the style is en point as in it has a pointed toe, casual yet cool and can be worn day into night. If you are on the hunt for an elevated otk boot, Saint Laurent makes this sexy version in both a brown and black suede. These are designed with a wide cuff so they slouch easily.
Next up is this cowboy-inspired boot by Isabel Marant. Shel always kills it, especially when it comes to Western-style. Funny, because the first time I checked out the My Theresa site, I didn’t add this to the mix but then I came across the boot styled in an IG photo on their feed (see here) and I thought to myself, these are cool!

If you are on the hunt for a classic, well priced black boot, these Loeffler Randall are a solid option. I actually think they look really similar to the Gianvito Rossi and are half the price. Something to definitely consider depending on your budget. I personally own a few shoes from Loeffler and find them to be comfortable and they wear very well.
If your style is on the trendier side, definitely worth checking out these edgy, statement leather lace-up combat boots by Gianvito Rossi. I loooovvveee these. They also have elastic ribbed panels which means you can slip them on and off easily.

There are so many fabulous brown ankle boots to consider, where do I even begin! One ankle boot that keeps catching my eye is this cinnamon brown leather bootie by Aquazzura. I love the retro style, quite Brit if you ask me, with a chunky 2-inch heel.
Another fab boot that I’m lusting over are these brown leather boots by French IT brand A.P.C. I love how they styled these with a crop jean – trés cool.

Last but not least is the black ankle boot. As you can see from my selection, I have a thing for the combat and Chelsea boot.
I currently have my eyes on this Guiseppe Zanotti zip-up black leather version which has a whole lotta attitude and these classic leather Chelsea boots by Rossi which are a bit more subdued. For a classic black leather ankle bootie, any of these options will do the trick depending on your heel height preference. See here from lowest to highest (here, here, and here)
There are so many fab options to choose from this season depending on your aesthetic, just know you’re off on the right foot with any of these picks!
