Today’s post is for the warm-weather folks and for the snowbirds who plan to travel south of the border this season. Think crochet, flirty swimsuits, breezy mini dresses, and flattering denim options for dining al fresco.
When it comes to beachwear, I gravitate towards A-line silhouettes and relaxed fits, so this Missoni Mare zig-zag knit caftan is at the top of my list. I’m all about the color yellow – an extra pop of happiness, even on a sunny day. I would wear this as a cover-up, but it also transitions nicely to an evening look. Pair it with some nude boy shorts, a strapless bra, some platform sandals and you’ll be golden.
Another statement cover-up is this multicolor crochet Etro knit cardigan. This shouts fun, flirty, and feminine. Similarly to the Missoni mini, this cardigan is a piece with styling versatility. Throw it on for the daytime and then pair it with your favorite jeans for dinner. A 2-for-1 look!
I’m partial to wide-leg jeans; this SLVRLAKE high-rise style is my forever favorite and comes in both blue and white denim.
A cute beach-to-town-to-dinner option that is definitely worth checking out is this white scoop-neck denim mini dress by Frame. This reminds me of Prada’s denim version from last season but at an affordable price point.
When it comes to swimwear, my go-to’s are Eres’s bandeaus and bikinis in all the colors of the rainbow. If you prefer a bright pop of color, Lisa Marie Fernandez makes this retro one-piece swimsuit. Cut from an orange sorbet crepe fabric with white piping, it has a flattering square neckline and a low-cut back.
As you can see, I’m a big fan of this crochet maxi dress by Johanna Ortiz. With cutouts in all the right places, this retro-inspired style is another evening statement piece. I took this dress in an XS and plan to wear this with platform sandals for a little extra height.
Another Johanna Ortiz piece I have my eye on is this lightweight cotton midi skirt. I’m forever a palm print lover and I always say yes to neutrals. This comes with a matching halter top, but Mara Hoffman’s black cotton cropped top would also look fab. Love the v-neckline and back tie – very romantic.

Cargo pants are a major trend for the upcoming spring/summer season and this Ralph Lauren style is a super cool luxe option. I’m all about the utility lewk which can be dressed up with a pair of stiletto/sandals or dressed down with a pair of sneakers or slides.
I never met a stripe I didn’t like so naturally, these Marni pastel green and white striped wide-leg cotton pants caught my attention. I am all for a wide-leg style and a comfortable drawstring waistband. Consider wearing this to the beach paired with a white bikini top, a white cropped tee, or a white button-down shirt.
You can also have fun with these pants and pair them with a colorful or bold print tee!
