There are so many sunscreen options today…which to choose?
For body, I have always been a fan of spray bottles because it requires minimum effort with maximum coverage and my hands don’t get sticky.
I love Hampton Sun in particular; in part because of its packaging, scent and effectiveness.
For a less expensive spray-on option, I recommend Neutrogena.
I am currently on the hunt for an organic spray sunscreen. I welcome any suggestions!
For those of you who like to slather on, I love Lancaster.
For the face, I have been using Chanel’s Daily Defense Sunscreen with an SPF 50+. It’s light, oil-free… and Chanel. Need I say more?
When not on the beach, I opt for Natura Bisse’s The Cure. It is also an oil free fluid with a SPF of 20 and offers just the right amount of make-up coverage.
Per a friends recommendation, I recently purchased Kiehl’s facial sunscreen and tested it out on my recent vacation. It has an SPF of 50+ as well. It’s fragrance and paragon free. This sunblock is a keeper – it’s light, silky and definitely effective.
I recently tried Shiseido which offers a broad spectrum SPF of 40 for both face and body. It was too thick and didn’t spread easily.
Looking for a super water-resistant sunscreen? You must check out Cosmedicine’s Even the Score sunblock. It seriously does not move, even after swimming and working out outside.
One last must-have sunscreen product that I always use on delicate parts of my face, is Clarins’ sun control stick.
Whichever sunscreen you choose, remember to reapply (unlike me), and most importantly, always have fun in the sun:)
