I am now officially in sweater weather mode.
Living in the city, I do a lot of walking and therefore spend more time outdoors. Feeling cold makes me cranky so wearing a warm sweater is the perfect layer to help me stay toasty.
No need to sacrifice fashion in the process. There are a multitude of fashionable and functional sweaters to cozy up in this season. Think cashmere, wool, chunky knits and boucle to name a few.
One of my first purchase of the season was this Ulla Johnson rose cashmere boucle knit sweater. In case you haven’t noticed in my past posts, here and here, pink may just be my new favorite winter color. The bell sleeve and mock neck offer some attitude to this worn in, casual look. Because of the sweater’s volume, I paired this with a pair of skinny jeans and burgundy knee boots to keep things interesting . Pink can also work well red, navy, and tan winter whites.
I loved this piece so much so that I also purchased it in navy but beware, this color sheds like a mother.
