The bright lights of Broadway are bedazzling. The excitement, energy and talent draw people from all over the world to this district. New Yorkers have this cultural gift at their finger tips, and we must take advantage of something that is so accessible to us!
It is the perfect winter indoor activity with so many genres to choose from. I am particularly drawn to comedies, in particular to In Transit which I saw recently. I also love real life story musicals like Gloria Estefan’s On Your Feet and Carole King’s Beautiful. It is always a treat to see big time actors taking center stage such as Bette Midler in the upcoming revival of Hello Dolly and and Jake Gyllenhaal in Sunday in the Park with George. Broadway is the ultimate Broadway experience.
For all things Broadway – it is worth it to take the time, plan ahead and purchase tickets. Not only will you have something to look forward to, it will also make for the perfect date.
