I’ve been filling up my NET-A-PORTER cart/wish list, and well, yeah, my closet too… with my fall fashion staples and I thought I’d share my little black book of must-haves with you all. For purposes of this post, I divided my list by color for a change. Hope you enjoy this fall fashion rainbow of sorts!
Elegant Black
At the top of my fall fashion shopping list is this Khaite off-the-shoulder ribbed knit midi dress. I have to say this piece was definitely out of my comfort zone and… I am so happy I gave it a try because it makes me feel like a W-O-M-A-N. I love an off-the-shoulder style and am obsessed with this elegantly curved neckline. This dress works for a dinner party, birthday dinner, cocktails, and hell, if you’d like to wear this out to dinner, go for it!
PS. I took this dress in an XS and note to self… – it’s always worth the try!
For those who want half the dress and a whole lot of fun, this dress comes in a ribbed knit sweater version which would work perfectly with a pencil or a-line skirt, denim jeans, or black or grey trousers. Speaking of denim, it’s definitely worth checking out these B Sides high-rise tapered black jeans – one of my current favorite styles.
I’m also loving this Safiyaa cutout ribbed knit sweater because who doesn’t love showing off their décolletage? A super chic and super sexy going out at night top.

50 Shades of Grey
Fashion alert… The cropped blazer is trending this fall/winter season and this cropped grey herringbone wool tweed blazer by Khaite is banging. The fit is perfection and makes for a smart wardrobe investment piece.
For those who prefer a classic style, this grey belted double-breasted blazer is a fabulous option. I love any and all blazers by Acne. Their fit is simply superb.
Another classic fall/winter wardrobe must-have is the grey sweater. This Khaite cashmere turtleneck is a winner. I love this luxe yet relaxed silhouette and it’s the kind of sweater you will throw on all season long. For a moderately priced option, this wool and cashmere-blend sweater by Allude is a classic.

Blue Is Understated Cool
I like to call this Saint Laurent wool-blend navy cardigan the Cardi B because it’s part cardigan/part blazer. NET-A-PORTER describes this as the cardigan that’s in the closet of every Parisian influencer and I can totally see why. Another chic fall investment piece that is easy to throw on with denim and trousers – et voila!
Another fall piece that’s at the top of my fall fashion shopping list is this patchwork quilted cotton jacket. This part cool/part sweet/part bohemian floral print piece has a relaxed fit and generous hood. Because it’s a bit oversized, it’ll be easy to layer with a thick sweater and keep you warm once the temperature dips. A big plus…this jacket will be sure to brighten up your days this season.

Neutral Territory
There are so many pieces in this neutral round-up that I am coveting.
This Acne patchwork cropped brown knit turtleneck sweater is a keeper. The fit is fab and I paired it with my favorite tapered off-white jeans by A Golde. This is a great day/weekend look or casual dinner look.
I’m also kind of obsessed with the message on this cotton tee by Sporty & Rich – Be nice, get lots of sleep & drink plenty of water – words of wisdom indeed. Maybe I’ll wear this to work out, possibly with plaid trousers, or with the off-white A Golde jeans I just mentioned – but yes, you’ll definitely see me sporting this tee around town.
Other brown/neutral pieces on my fall shopping list are these Altuzarra lust-have leather pleated straight-leg pants with a tapered cuff that can be worn with sneakers or stilettos, these classic Akris tapered cotton cords, and this blazing hot houndstooth wool tweed blazer by Giuliva.

Go Green
Green is trending this season and both these Loewe and Bottega Veneta bags are gorgeous options that can be worn all year long.
When it comes to running around town for errands/ to the gym/for coffee or a cup of chai you say? This army green Rains hooded quilted padded shell coat will keep you looking cool and feeling toasty.

Red Hot
I always love a pop of red in my wardrobe, especially during winter when I could use a little pick me up. This Doen cotton-smocked red floral print dress has my heart and looks sweet and effortless. This print also comes in this quilted cotton jacket version – so my vibe.

Pure Ivory
As I mentioned above, these off-white tapered high-rise jeans by AGolde are a must-have and the perfect winter white option. I took these in a size 25 and will have to take in the waist just a smidge.
This cropped rib cotton-blend tank by The Range is the perfect layering piece to be worn underneath a blazer or oversized cardigan.
Last but not least is your classic beige sweater. I am loving this wool-cashmere blend mock neck style.
