39 Things That Can Ruin a Moment

Below is my 10 month anniversary “39 list”
This month’s theme is “39 Things That Can Ruin a Moment”.
Hope this list can have the opposite effect on you:)

 

 

Set your alarm clock for 6:45PM instead of 6:45AM

Order caffeinated coffee instead of decaf (don’t know about you but this jacks me up like nobody’s business)

Cold coffee

Bird poop on freshly cut and blown hair…Oh yeah, where was the good luck?

Congratulate someone on a non existing pregnancy

Sit on an airplane seat that doesn’t recline

Find an inventory control tag on a piece of clothing about to be worn

Returned dry cleaned items with same stain it was sent in with

A hangover

Hail a taxi cab driver that is new to the streets of New York City

Eat a slice of cheese only to realize that the remaining brick has mold

Get on the scale

A nasty look

Be put on hold before uttering the word hi

See the kid’s schools phone number pop up on the cell phone screen

An elevator that stops on every single floor

Someone who gets on the elevator for one flight only

Commercial interruptions

Need to use the bathroom at the same exact time as your significant other

Awkward silence

Laugh at something that was not meant as a joke

Being told I look great for my age

Or being told I look great for someone who has three kids

When your water bottle leaks in your pocketbook

When your kids refuse what you’ve made for dinner

When you catch the end of a favorite song on the radio

Poor cell phone service

Wearing suede shoes when you didn’t know it was raining

Wet rings under your silk shirt

When hot water runs out at the salon on a winter day

Arrive at an appointment on time and then having to wait

A slow cab driver on a day when running late

Unable to come up with a topic for my 39 list

When someone wants to know “what smells?”

A sour grapefruit

A sour puss

A Debbie Downer

Finding out too late your using a broken toilet in a public place

Waking up to a pimple. Need I say more?
