One thing that’s for certain, I know a good thing when I see it. Case in point is this Vince beige suede Chelsea ankle boot which I scored at Bergdorf’s recently while shopping with my daughter Vivian. Each season I specifically check out their shoe collection as I have snagged some great ones from them in the past which continue to have staying power season after season. These Vince ankle boots are perfect for a casual day or weekend lunch with the hubby.
They’re super comfortable with a bit of a Brit attitude. Speaking of Brit, this boot was designed for the house of Queen Victoria in 1851. They became popular again in the 1950s and 1960s by everyone from the Beatles to Jean Shrimpton. Back to Vince ankle boots…I’ve been styling them with tapered pants or skinny jeans, some fun socks as shown here, and a cozy sweater like this green striped cashmere one by Kule. This boot can also be paired with a button-down shirt and blazer for a more classic look. Vince also offers this ankle boot in black suede which is always a winter classic.
For those looking to get in on the snakeskin boot trend, Vince offers this leather snakeskin print ankle bootie in a brown/black and white/black version at a gentle price point.
One last shoe from Vince that’s on my wish list is actually a slipper. I can visualize slipping my feet into these brown suede shearling-lined cashmere slippers on a cold winters night or day haha with perhaps some hot cocoa or coffee in hand. These slippers would also make for the perfect holiday gift or stocking stuffer.
While checking out the Vince shoe collection online, I saw a few cozy sweaters from their ready-to-wear collection which I had to share because they’re the ones you’ll want to live in when the temps dip. I mean, does it get any better than this half-zip fleece-lined sweater? I think not. Also worth checking out is this brown Teddy funnel neck sweater which also comes with a matching hat. Not sure about you, but they had me at Teddy.
