Swimsuits I’m Coveting for Summer

Swimwear season is almost upon us, which for some of us (myself included) can be daunting.
I definitely get more excited browsing through bathing suits and bikinis, than actually trying them on.
On the upside, knowing that summer is around the corner, I am motivated to step up my game both in and out of the gym, especially after a winter of hiding behind oversized sweatshirts and sweaters.

My go-to swimwear designer season after season is anything Eres. This brand offers an array of colors and styles that are classic, beautifully crafted, and made in France. Need I say more?
I add a new color or two to my collection each season and these swimsuits are worth the investment.

Now on to my favorite trends of the season…

Stripes, leopard, florals, and shimmer have my attention for summer 2019. Solid & Striped has a red and white one piece, and Mara Hoffman also shows a red and white striped high waisted bikini and bandeau are my favorites. Paired with denim cutoffs or white capri linen pants and all I’ll need is a petit bateau to take me out to sea.

Romantic, feminine florals with a touch of boho make for the perfect swimsuit this summer. I’m loving this one-shouldered ruffle floral print bathing suit by Onia, tres chic. Love Shack Fancy’s soft pastel floral one piece is another must-have of the season. The shoulder tie detail is super sweet. Last but not least is this floral print bandeau bikini by Zimmerman. I’ve definitely been gravitating towards these retro vintage yellow and orange hues lately. Speaking of vintage vibes, check out Faithfull the Brand’s bikini selection. They have a lot of that 70’s thang going on.

For a bit of Vava Voom leopard, Mara Hoffman, Stella McCartney, and Solid & Striped offer unique iterations of this print. I definitely want to try Stella’s retro 80’s high cut style. I like the unique rose-colored take on the traditional brown leopard print. This would also work well as a bodysuit worn with jeans for evening.

For those looking for a little shima in their lives, I love this olive and gold stretch one piece because even though it glimmers, the shine is subtle.

One last brand that is also on my radar is Hunza G. These seersucker bikinis come in an array of solid colors and their bikini ruffled styles can only be described as flirty. Think high cut, low back one-pieces, and high waisted bikini bottoms. Super cute.

Last but not least – I recently read an article about the one-piece bathing suit Amazon craze. If you missed out on the $100 Amazon coat this winter, you can be en pointe with the $14.99 one piece for summer. I hear the fit is great!
