The Not So Sexy Summer Sandals Must Have

If you’re looking for pretty summer sandals, do not continue reading this post. While they are not necessarily pretty, they are definitely pretty cool summer sandals.

Teva inspired sandals are trending for summer and I’m so glad I hopped on the bandwagon. I actually first spotted these boho/earthy sandals by Arizona Love on @agvdw’s Instagram handle. Anne represents this brand and so I reached out to this cool girl who I’m slightly obsessed with, to purchase a pair. She is a breath of fresh air, has a unique street style and I only know this from Instagram, she loves her green juices and boy can she bust a move. She meets all the criteria for a perfect friend. PS. I’ve only met her twice for 5 minutes but this is the impression she’s made on me.

Ok…back to the sandals… these Arizona Love trekky sandals come in one basic style but are far from basic, come in multiple shades and a couple different embellishments. I chose the bandana wrapped sandals in the green, grey and orange color way to start, but truth be told, I want them all. I recently saw one adorned with shells that are super cute.

For a more dressed up and elegant option, I am loving The Row’s Egon Ruched Flat Leather Sandal. They come in magnificent colors, the green and yellow being my favorites. For a more toned down version, check out these summer sandals by Vince which come in tan and black leather and nylon.

If you’re looking for a cross between utilitarian and chic, you can opt for this leather and raffia pair by Marques’ Almeida which happen to be on sale.

Prada does a great interpretation which I’ve been spotting on many an influencer.

Lastly, while I’ve never heard of the brand Suicoke until I did my research for this post, they come up on many fashion sites and come in cool iterations like this red and white Van’s inspired check version.

If you want the OG’s, look no further than the Teva x Outdoor Voices collaboration which is pretty awesome. As a side note, Teva is an Israeli company which in Hebrew translates to the word nature – love it! That’s feet for thought!
