Happy almost spring everyone!
Now is the time I do my serious fashion homework and by this, I mean researching which pieces l I will invest in for a solid, yet elevated wardrobe update. I headed to one of my favorite sites, Net-a-Porter, and rounded up my top picks from head to toe, literally.
Dress To Impress
I think it’s safe to say, most of us are ready to retire our sweats and opt for a dress.
I will be heading to Miami for Passover and am excited to get all dolled up and (gasp) put on a pair of heels!
I am a huge fan of Columbian-based designer Johanna Ortiz. Her tropical prints are joyful and refreshing and her fit is feminine and flattering. This season, I opted for this bold orchid print mini dress with a puff sleeve and square neckline (another detail that gets me every time). I plan to wear this with a black strappy sandal or these neutral raffia sandals – a win-win either way.
Two other must-have dresses that I am obsessed with are by designer Zeynep Arcay.
The first piece is this khaki cutout cotton mini dress that can be worn with sandals or even with sneakers. The fit is fab and I know I will live in this dress come spring and summer.
Something important to note – if there is an item on the NAP site that is sold out in your size, be sure to put yourself on the wish list. On occasion, an item you hoped for becomes available and you will be contacted. Another suggestion is to reach out to the site via email or phone and see if they can contact the item from one of their international sites, ie London or Japan.
Another dress by Istanbul-based it designer, Zeynep Arcay that I am swooning over is this sexy black wrap-effect silk mini dress – the perfect updated LBD with its plunging neckline and voluminous puff sleeves.
Last but certainly not least is this fresh white tweed mini dress by Balmain. The fitted bodice will do wonders for your figure, the padded cups give the girls just the right amount of lift, and who doesn’t love a side pocket? This is my first time wearing a dress by Balmain and the fit is perfection – where have you been all my life?

Sweater Weather
I always love a good stripe so naturally, this Rosie Assoulin convertible (as it can be worn multiple ways) striped ribbed wool-blend sweater is at the top of my list. I’d wear this fun knit for a dinner al fresco worn with a high-waisted flare or tapered jeans – a perfect top to add that pop of color to your wardrobe.
Another knit I have my eyes on is this preppy cable-knit beige v neck sweater with navy striped detailing by Max Mara (they’ve been killing it FYI in the knit department).
I would wear this with navy trousers, denim, or even cut-offs come late spring/summer.

Crop It Like It’s Hot
On to the itty bitty crop top….
How beautiful is this embroidered linen crop top by Agua by Agua Bendita?
I’m a sucker for floral details and like I mentioned earlier, a square neckline.
This top looks like that unique find you’d score on a trip to the Italian Riviera.
Another super chic crop top option is this neutral cotton-blend one by Emilia Wickstead.
I can never have enough neutral anything and though I don’t have a specific item in mind to pair it with besides a white or black trouser, I know it will come somehow come in handy when I’m looking for that perfect top to pair.

I’m A Pants Girl
Sometimes I just want to wear the pants in the family (jk, of course I always do:)), which is why I’ve included some fabulous options like this flattering pair of army green linen wide-leg pants by Gabriela Hearst – tres chic, and these cool tan leather track pants by Rag & Bone for a bit of that sporty yet elevated look. This relaxed pair of coolness can be dressed down with a pair of sneakers or dressed up with a high-heeled sandal.

Good Shoes Take You Good Places
Bottega Veneta killed it in the accessories department once again. I’m obsessed with their chain embellished leather sandal as well as these beige raffia mules which you will most definitely get a lot of mileage out of. New to the site are these two-tone leather mules in brown with black outlines by Manolo Blahnik – Love me a brown/black leather combo any day.
Last but not least, is this raffia backpack by The Row that is perfect for town and the beach, talk about killing 2 birds with one stone.
