Happy March!
I’m thrilled to be back sharing some of my new and notable finds. The weather has warmed up a bit which has me excited for all things SPRING!
Last month, I dusted off my old tennis racquet and got back on the court. It’s been fun, not to mention a great workout — I’m trying to play once a week. While I was visiting my in-laws in Miami, I played on the tennis courts near their apartment building, which requires players to wear all-white. Of course, I happily obliged by adding these white jersey shorts by ON and this white tennis skort by Splits59 to cart. I took a size small in both.
In the wellness world, I participated in my first cacao ceremony with Alexandra Zohn. Designed to balance out our energy and connect with our intuition, the ceremony was a heart-opening experience.
I also visited Naturopathica space in Chelsea and had a fabulous massage which I booked through the Skoop beauty and wellness app. I also went for a lymphatic massage and sculpting session at Aiza Karimova on the UES with a focus on my stomach area… let’s just say I found it very effective!
It could be that I’ve been craving sitting in the sauna lately because, up until last week, the weather has been frigid. Casa Tua has an intimate yet beautifully designed spa with a dual steam and sauna facility that I tried out a few weeks ago. It made a for the perfect ‘Sunday self-care’ moment.
A highlight this month was an invitation to chat with Melanie Kule on Propel Network’s podcast. I discussed the journey that led to the birth of my blog, Fortune Inspired, and am excited to share the link with you as soon it’s released. Stay tuned!
I’m still reading Mel Robbins’ The Let Them Theory and learning how to “let them” and “let me”. I highly recommend! Another book I’m also currently reading and enjoying is How To End A Love Story by Yulin Kuang. This is more of a romantic (steamy at times), beach-read.
I have a habit of buying more books than I can read, however, 3 other books I recently purchased via Amazon are Husbands and Lovers and The Stolen Queen. I also pre-ordered Sisters of Fortune. Lastly, it was time for a new 5 Minute Journal replenishment. If you’re interested in purchasing a gratitude journal, be sure that it’s by Intelligent Change.
