I’ve been wearing aluminum free deodorant since I was a kid, specifically Tom’s of Maine and have since graduated to more sophisticated options.
I tried seven all natural deodorants, smelling like an aromatherapy junkie all the while, and here is the low down.
My two favorites (I switch off between them) are Kai and Agent Nateur. Both are dry sticks with a delicate and clean scent and I have to admit I am sucker for their branding.
Dr. Hauschka and Aesop came highly recommended but I am not a fan of sprays and roll ons.
I simply don’t love the wet feeling and they were a bit too fragrant.
For those looking for a designer name, Malin + Goetz is an option but not sure it protects against wetness.
I also tried Ursa Major that boasts 24 hour odor protection, yeah! I have yet to try Schmidt’s, the holy grail of all natural deodorants which offers protection against odor and wetness. I will save this one for the board room!
I used to buy the Tom’s of Maine one. I also am constantly on the hunt for cool ones – no pun intended. Did anyone mention Lavanila Healthy Deoderant?
