18 Fun Facts About My Birthday

I love my birthday. Regardless that I’m a grown woman with children, it’s my day and I revel in it.
Below are 18 fun facts about my big day.
1. I cry about something stupid every birthday.
2. I love my birthday as much as any pre schooler.
3. I leave my calendar free for a week prior to my birthday expecting a ton lunch dates.
4. I save my candles for months.
5. I save my cards forever. Yes, forever.
6. I tell everyone I come in contact with that it’s my birthday.
7. November 21st is one of my favorite days of the year and my husbands least favorite.
8. I think every flower and UPS delivery coming into my building are for me.
9. I eat french toast for breakfast on my birthday.
10. I buy myself birthday presents as back up and have them gift wrapped.
11. I share the same birthday as Goldie Hawn.
12. I get massages and blow outs every birthday.
13. I love receiving cards and crowns from my kiddies.
14. I was born on a Thursday.
15. Nothing interesting happened on the day I was born except for this one not so fun fact that came up on google : The Birmingham Pub bombings kill 21 people. The Birmingham Six are sentenced to life in prison for the crime but subsequently acquitted. Good Times.
16. I have 24 more years till I become a senior citizen. And the good news?  Ben and Jerry’s and Apple Bee’s both offer a 10% percent discount!!! Something to look forward to.
17. My husband once bought me a membership to Harry and David’s Fruit of the Month Club for my birthday when we were dating.
18. I thank g-d that even though I have more wrinkles than the previous year, I am happy and grateful to be alive and celebrate.
