Dreaming of warm weather, white sandy beaches, and calm blue seas?
I have a couple of tropical destinations on my wish list… Hoping that will come sooner rather than later. If not, you betcha I’ll take summers on the East Coast. There are so many charming spots to vacation, even on the Jersey Shore where I frequent each summer and… like I always say, beauty can be found anywhere you seek it.
Until then, I’m getting a head start on what I’ll be wearing to the beach, be it here or abroad. My first stop was My Theresa’s Vacation Shop which has a super curated selection of vacation accessories, jewels, cover-ups, and summer dresses. It seriously makes shopping a breeze.
Each season, I update my swimwear wardrobe with just a few suits. It’s not my favorite category to shop for but there are a few brands I can rely on for a flattering fit, ie Hunza G and Lisa Marie Fernandez. I have my eye on this rust color seersucker bikini by Hunza G. Love the tortoise detail and I’m always on the lookout for neutrals. Fun fact about this brand…For those who have watched the movie Pretty Woman, the cut out pink and blue seersucker dress worn by Julia Roberts is by none other than Hunza G. Just a bit of Monday morning trivia if you will. Another bikini must-have is this chic one-shouldered black bikini. I imagine myself wearing this with a pair of tapered cotton beach pants and Maison Michel straw hat, but of course.

Plan on taking a walk on the wild side with this Lisa Marie Fernandez linen zebra print a-line dress. As I’m on the petite side (5’3), I shortened it a bit for a fun and flirty look. Though not a cover-up, this Dolce & Gabbana cropped white tee is a definite summer/vacation essential and can be worn with dressy or casual shorts or pants. It is on the pricey side for a tee, but I invested in this piece, as a well made white cropped tee is hard to come by.
Think pretty in pink with this striped knit floor-length cardigan. It makes for the perfect beach cover-up layered over a bikini or swimsuit. Love the bright and happy pink tone too!

These sunny yellow Isabel Marant lightweight cotton pants will certainly brighten up my day. Always a fan of the high waist + tapered leg lewk. I paired the pants with the cropped white Dolce tee.
Also swooning over these silk printed pants by F.R.S. Just saying, the Dolce tee would be perfect for these sunrise printed babies – so freakin cool!

I’m all about the summer dress, particularly, this sweet and feminine floral printed ones by it label Gul Hurgel. For a bit of evening glamour, check out this orange botanical printed bustier and matching printed maxi skirt.

Literally head over heels for all these sandals. Please do take notice of the unique architectural heels by Cult Gaia, Jacquemus and Souliers Martinez. They are all summer-perfect if you ask me. Another winner are these Gianvito Rossi raffia and suede platform sandals. Perfect for your wide-legged linen pant or 70’s bootleg denim jean.

I have an addiction to shell jewelry. Nothing says summer better than these beachy accessories by Tohum. So mad over this oval linked chain necklace which is all the rage this spring/ summer season. I love that it sits right by the collar bone – oh so flattering.

Gotta stay fashionably protected or just fashionable with a summer hat. There is nothing chicer than a Maison Michel hat and I do own a couple. I just find it hard to actually lay out in the sun while wearing a fedora which is why I prefer these bucket hats by Jacquemus. They’re easy to travel with, have a Gilligans Island Vibe and they’re just so darn cute!
