I recently finished watching the Netflix series Daisy Jones And The Six, a show about the rise and fall of a fictional 1970s rock band, loosely based on Fleetwood Mac. If you haven’t yet watched it yet, I highly recommend – I didn’t want it to end!
Thanks to the show, I’m girl-crushing on Camilla Morrone, Riley Keough, and Suki Waterhouse. Today’s post is dedicated to their killer on-screen ’70s style – think crochet, eyelet, flared denim, fringe, and knee-high boots.
Crochet and eyelet, in particular, are synonymous with summer and since watching Daisy Jones, I’ve added a few new styles with these fabrics to my wardrobe including this long crochet cardigan that can be paired over denim wide-leg jeans or denim shorts. If you pair this with jeans, consider layering the cardigan over a bandeau or when styling it over a pair of denim shorts, try layering it over a bikini top or one-piece swimsuit.
Another summer crochet favorite is this groovy striped crochet knit top with long bell sleeves and scalloped trim. I plan to pair this with wide-leg jeans, but it comes with matching shorts for an instant outfit.
When it comes to boho-inspired blouses, I’m all about this cotton linen eyelet top by SEA (I took this in an XXS). It’s also available in black and has a matching midi skirt – the perfect look for a summer night out or for your summer travels.

I love a feminine floral summer dress and this Doen, silk midi, when paired with a slouchy or cowboy boot is definitely a ’70s-inspired look.
Another dress that I could totally see Daisy Jones rocking is this white midi crochet dress with a plunging v-neckline and scalloped trim.
For a mini dress option, I love this Isabel Marant strapless floral-print silk-crepon mini dress. Add a fun choker or some beaded jewelry to finish off the look!

I can never get enough denim in my wardrobe. I’m always on the hunt for the next best pair of jeans and am particularly partial to flare and wide-leg styles as I find them to be a flattering silhouette. This Slvrlake wide-leg pair remains a go-to season after season. They fit true to size and also come in white.
Nili Lotan makes a fab boot-cut jean that feels like a second skin as in, they’re soft as butter. These also fit true to size.
Here is a denim mini-skirt option that I scored this season. I’m all about the light blue wash and a-line style.

I love a cowboy boot moment! A seasonless style, they add character to any outfit – think mini and maxi dresses, denim jeans, and shorts. These Isabel Marant suede boots and these Etro cowboy boots are at the top of my wish list.
Clogs are another 70’s wardrobe staple. These Swedish Hasbeens ankle strap clogs have been a staple in my summer wardrobe for a few years now and are easy to pair with many warm-weather looks.
